Horizons

It was evenfall and the weather was pleasantly cool except the fact that I was sitting at an Annual Day Function of my younger brother. The place was overcrowded with Parents and Children enjoying the event. Of course the event was beautiful with Children from Pre-Primary to High School giving their phenomenal performances. It’s fun to see everyone enjoying and so did my brother. While making my way through the throng, a couple of people caught my attention. A Man in his late 40’s holding a woman’s hand up to his face standing next to him. At first, I wasn’t sure what they were up to. I have many times seen people getting intimate in public or at Social media by uploading personal pictures. I really wonder kissing or cuddling or making love with your loved ones in public makes you bold? Don’t they have their “Personal Lives”?               It was eventide and crowd on the beach has almost disappeared. The smoky moon has illuminated the sky with the stars ensconced behind the dim gray clouds. The breeze blowing was cool but not cold. They can feel the leptons and quarks of the cool breeze. Soon they sensed the rhythm of the sea waves; each time embraced by the sand. It was Sarah’s Birthday and she wanted to celebrate her day with her best friend Sarth at the beach. It was nightfall and Sushant was gazing at sky surrounded by pleasant aura with crescent moon and twinkling stars. He was faraway from this ambience; faded in his thoughts.
