The Untold Story

It was evenfall and the weather was pleasantly cool except the fact that I was sitting at an Annual Day Function of my younger brother. The place was overcrowded with Parents and Children enjoying the event. Of course the event was beautiful with Children from Pre-Primary to High School giving their phenomenal performances. It’s fun to see everyone enjoying and so did my brother.

While making my way through the throng, a couple of people caught my attention. A Man in his late 40’s holding a woman’s hand up to his face standing next to him. At first, I wasn’t sure what they were up to. I have many times seen people getting intimate in public or at Social media by uploading personal pictures. I really wonder kissing or cuddling or making love with your loved ones in public makes you bold? Don’t they have their “Personal Lives”? Or they just want to show off to the world how deeply they are in love. I often have these kinds of thoughts and end up by convincing myself that everyone has liberty to live their lives by their own ways. And I stand out of this “Loving People’s” crowd.

Little did I realize I was way too far from the actual scenario. When I stepped next to them, I was left startled by the fact that they were deaf and mute. He was actually trying to explain his wife by writing (virtually) over her hand. I was striving for not starring at them but in vain. Later an old lady appeared and all of them were conversing through actions. Then the old lady introduced them with some people and they headed towards the food court. I assumed that they too were there to attend the function for their Child.

I wanted to talk to them, to interact with them but what would I tell them? Nothing clicked to my mind. Meanwhile I left the place with mixed feelings. It was amazing to see them together; being married and raising a child though they are deaf and mute. They are actually a great source of inspiration and proved that “Action speaks louder than words”.

Whenever we are happy, sad, and hungry or any little feeling we have, we just speak it up. We often get hurt by words but they are not blessed to get hurt in this way. I have come across many people who feel discontented with their lives. But look at them, they are the real heroes. I believe that everyone has hero inside him. All you need is to trust yourself. Whatever may come, you should face the situation and rise every time you fall. Don’t let that hero die inside you. Live to the fullest as life never gives you a second chance but comes with an expiry date. Don’t let yourself die before the date.
