To the Pluto and back...

Dusk was falling rapidly. The clouds that had been wispy and white in morning were now darker and denser which signaled heavy rains. The trees were swaying with cold wind. Amongst this hustle and bustle, a bunch of kids were gleefully waiting for misty rains. Their innocence made me smile. No doubt, there is always something special with first rainfall of the season. I was eagerly waiting for Saniya who had promised to rejoice First Rains with me. Suddenly I felt a sense of warmth and comfort around me and yes, she’s here. I – (Pointing at watch) you are late! Her – Not really. It’s about to rain. I – (Offering her a rose) Apologies accepted. Her – (With a blush) Since when you have become this romantic? I – (Making faces) My romance was never been noticed. Her – (Laughing) Good one. I – Not funny (with a pause) You are looking beautiful today! Her – Overwhelmed.
