I Love you more than I loved you!

It was nightfall and Sushant was gazing at sky surrounded by pleasant aura with crescent moon and twinkling stars. He was faraway from this ambience; faded in his thoughts. All he was thinking about is Shreyanshi (who used be) his Love of Life. 

(He met Shreyanshi three years ago and fell in love with. Shreyanshi have had same feelings for him. He was apple of her eye and for him she was the first and last thing on his mind. On a fateful day, they decided to take their relationship to a next step with due consent of their parents. Unfortunately they failed to go against their parents wish and decided to split up unwillingly.) 

Months passed away but Sushant can’t stop thinking about Shreyanshi. His parents have fixed his engagement to a girl whom he hardly knows. He conceded for the same just for the happiness of his parents. Nextday was his engagement day. Everyone at his place was busy in the preparation for the very day. Sushant was unable to confront these affairs. Looking at the crescent moon he realized that he is always incomplete without shreyanshi. He can’t stop loving her and decided to follow his heart.

Without any other thought he rushed to reach Shreyanshi. With mixed feelings he reached to the doorsteps of Shreyanshi and rang the bell.

Out there Shreyanshi was pooled with tears thinking about Sushant and his new beginning. Suddenly the bell rang and she turned shaky. She was familiar with the manner the bell rang. She was dubious about his presence. Trembling with fear she opened the door and yes Sushant is here. Jolted by his presence she turned pale.

Her – (Brittle voice) Why are you here?

Him – You were crying? Why? Is everything fine? Are you alright?

Her – Answer my question first!

Him – (Looking at watch) Sorry for dropping by at this unusual time. (Pointing at a book she was holding)You were reading a comic book! Your eyes look teary. Am sorry!

Her – You can get inside. Just having a minor eye infection. I’ll be fine soon. And…

Him – Stop! Only a fool like you can cry while reading a comic book. You still can’t lie. I can feel the agony. (In a serious tone) Shreyanshi I am here to confess something.

Her – I know you are getting engaged. (Smiling deliberately) And am happy with your decision. Congratulations.

Him – Its pretty good to know you had idea of my whereabouts.

Her – I happened to know this. Anyways would you please tell me the reason for your surprise visit?

Him – Am going to call off the engagement.

Her – (with disgust voice) what? Call off?

Him – Yes. Please try to understand what am going to say.

Her – Are you mad. A day before your engagement you are calling it off! What mess you are creating…..

Him – Shreyanshi…please calm down and listen to me.

Her – This is not right. Don’t do so. Think about your parents.

Him – Yes, this is not right but nor wrong. Am just following my heart.

Her – Sushant, Why?

Him – Because…. (With big pause) its YOU!

 (Somewhere she knew the reason for calling off)

Her – We had decided to split up months ago. Things can’t be same again. Don’t do this. We can’t go against your parent’s wish.

Him – Shreyanshi…I can’t. The day I fell in love with you; I had started to Live my life. I don’t want to die inside day by day. Your presence makes me feel complete. I don’t want a life - HAPPY FOREVER but a life with YOU. I want to face each milestone along with you. I don’t want to spend my life with you…but, want to live days with you. I want to cry, laugh, smile, fly and do every little thing with you. I want me to be with you at your good and bad times. I love your flaws, your imperfections. I love the way you smile, the way you care for me, I love every little thing about you….just like the way you are looking at me (now). I want to be the reason for your happiness. I still remember the hard times I had and you were like my motivating pill. Everyday I stare at your picture and share everything to make me feel better. But your picture can’t replace you. Life is really simple…our silly decision has made it complicated. You were never my Girlfriend but SOULMATE. Let’s not ruin our lives. I don’t believe in sacrificing love….All I know is I love you and I’ ll love you all my life. Am not forcing you to be with me…just confessing my feelings for you. I want you to be with me by your heart. I want to grow old with you, would you?

Her – (Bursted with tears) Yes, I do.

He embraced her…and for him it was his full moon day.

Her – (Craughing tone) But your Parents won’t agree for us being together.

Him – Hey, you either cry or laugh! Its pretty confusing…. Yes, it would be a tough job to convince them. But am sure they will understand my feelings for you. Once they’ ll be known with you…they can’t stop loving you! Now am prepared for every crossroad…things will be tough but not impossible. Keep your hopes alive!

Her – Sushant, I love you more than I loved you.

And then it was a new beginning…….!!! You get to live only once; live to the fullest…follow your heart being sane.
